Why Women Wear Sexy Panties?

Why do women wear thongs, g-strings and even crotch less panties? Panties are sexy underwear and there is not really one good answer as different women have different reasons depending on the occasion. One thing for sure is men are always interested in the answers.

Sexy panties are a term that describes a lot of different garments. For instance there are thongs which reveal a great deal of a woman's buttocks and then there are g-strings which are even more revealing. Then there are boy shorts, boy leg panties, bikini panties and all of these and more styles come in a variety of fabrics and colors. But despite the enormous selection of sexy panties some things remain constant.

1. Wearing sexy panties makes a woman look and feel sexy. Slipping on a pair of sexy panties makes her look sexy and that is great for her self esteem and self confidence. All of us have had the experience of wearing clothing that makes up look great and it boosts our view of ourselves. Sexy panties are capable of accomplishing this for a woman and a wonderful reason to wear them.

As an extension of this feeling a woman also wears sexy panties for the man in her life. Men simply love a woman in her panties. It matters not at all if she is a lingerie model, a mom, a girlfriend or a neighbor. He loves the sight of a plus size woman, a woman in her 30's or her 50's, it simply matters that a woman is wearing sexy panties. Thus a man appreciating a woman in her panties can also be a terrific reason for a woman to wear sexy panties.

2. Sexy panties say a lot about who she is. Wearing sexy panties says she is aware of her sexuality and it matters to her how she looks and feels about herself. A woman who cares about her appearance is the polar opposite of a woman who does not care about her appearance. Sexy panties are a fashion statement she is making and the fact that the world cannot see them is immaterial. She is a sexy woman and the only person that really matters knows it. This is a matter of self expression and while some might dismiss this reason to wear sexy panties as frivolous simply miss the point. What a woman wears matters to her and those around her. A professional woman who performs surgery or tries a lawsuit is still a woman and those sexy panties under her professional woman suggest who she is whether or not we are allowed to see those sexy panties.

3. Sexy panties often avoid the dreaded VPL- visible panty lines. Appearances are everything or so we are told. Fashion dictates that a woman not show her panty lines under slacks or body hugging skirts and dresses. It is unsightly to see the outlines of a woman's panties and thongs, g-strings and even c-strings do not leave any tell tale signs of wearing panties. Panty lines are to be avoided at all costs as they don't look good under today's clingy garments.

Today's body conscious women have a lot of reasons to wear sexy panties but after all is said and done panties are no longer simply for hygiene or to prevent soiling her other garments. Panties are fashion and women know this as they select them for comfort, color, style and sex appeal. Your mother always told you to wear clean underwear in case you were in an accident. Women today wear sexy panties because their sexuality is important to them and there are few garments that a woman can wear that express their sexuality than panties.
